From an early age I had a love of problem solving, numbers, and the process of coming up with the right solution. Influenced by great math teachers at Salmon Creek and El Molino Schools, math became a passion of mine and I am incredibly grateful to be currently teaching math to grades 9-12 at Roseland University Prep in Santa Rosa, CA.
I transitioned to my teaching career from one in web development and marketing management, which provided me with a wealth of experiences and knowledge that transfer directly into my classroom. Training new employees in programming and graphic design techniques and developing custom programs for clients helped train me to find solutions for individuals based on their different needs and skill levels, which I also do for my students in the classroom.
I currently live in Camp Meeker with my wife Kelly Anne and our two children, Clementine (10) and Bowie (8). When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll find me at the beach, in the redwoods, on the river, or at the golf course (whether hitting balls or throwing discs). I also serve on the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together Sebastopol.
